While there are ReShade alternatives for macOS users, there is conflicting. ReShade is currently only available for players on PC. Imagine your favorite game with ambient occlusion, real depth of field effects, color correction and more ReShade. You'll just need to drop your Marty McFly files in there. ReShade is a generic post-processing injector for games and video software developed by crosire. I'd be happy to message you my standard folder of shaders, and my preset. Understand how they work, and what happens when you change values in the shaders. I also encourage you to play around with the shaders that you use.
The rest is up to you, but I encourage you to not get too heavy with a lot of shaders at once. However it does make older games look incredible. After that I touch up the black and white level with FakeHDR.įor some games I will run the Marty McFly shaders, mainly the RTGI, but I do notice very slight input delay. I then re-sharpen the image with Fidelity FX CAS.Īfter that I like to increase saturation in certain colors with qUINT_lightroom. I prefer FXAA, even though it blurs the image.
SMAA is an option, but I notice jittering at high refresh rates.
If a game has bad Anti-Aliasing, I want to fix that with a shader. This mainly applies when I use more taxing shaders. I try not to run a ton of shaders at once, because I start to notice some input delay. Pretty much anything ReShade related will be personal preference, but I'm happy to tell you what I look for.
